We are a City of Edinburgh Council run setting offering 1140 hours funded places. We have a capacity of 112 children in total, and up to 80 children attending at any one time. With flexible open plan spaces and direct access to the nursery garden, children have the freedom to explore and follow their interests as they learn.

In accordance with City of Edinburgh Council’s admissions policy, children become eligible for a place here from the first intake after their 3rd birthday. You can read more about the admissions policy on the link below.

We also offer a number of spaces for Terrific 2 Year Olds. Children who qualify for these spaces can join us one week after their 2nd birthday, and you can apply once they turn 2. Our Terrific 2 spaces are either the AM or PM attendance pattern, as detailed below. For more information on eligibility, please click the link below.

From August 2024 our three attendance patterns will be as follows:
Term Time Option – 30 hours per week
Term-time placement
Monday – Thursday
8.30 am – 3.00 pm
and
Friday
8.30 am – 12.30 pm
AM/PM Option – 5 days AM or PM
Full year AM/PM Placement
Monday – Friday
8.00 am – 12.36 pm
or
1.24 pm – 6.00 pm
Full Day Option – two ten-hour days
Full year 2 Day placement
Monday and Tuesday
or
Wednesday and Thursday
A number of additional ten-hour days to take on Fridays through the year, known as ‘flexi Fridays’.
